Questions about plans

Is there a limit on how many notes I can keep?

No. Notes and notebooks are unlimited on every plan, including Free.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?

Devices, attachment storage, locked notes and the bookmarks bar sync. Free includes 2 devices and 1 GB of attachments. Pro is $49 a year (or $5.99 a month) for unlimited devices, 100 GB of attachments, locked notes, and the Web Clipper's bookmarks bar sync. Quick Capture, search, note sharing, clipping pages and the rest are on both plans. App Lock is too.

What counts as a device?

Each iPhone, iPad or Mac signed in to the Remindly app. The web app doesn't count, so on Free you can use it on any computer on top of your 2 devices. Neither do the Web Clipper or integrations like Granola. Signing out of the app frees its place, and you can remove a lost or replaced device in Settings.

How do I cancel, and can I get a refund?

Cancel Pro in Settings whenever you like. It stays on until the end of the period you've paid for, then your account moves to Free. If you ask within 14 days of a yearly charge, the first one or a renewal, we refund it in full: just reply to your receipt. Monthly charges aren't refunded, but cancelling stops the next one. We email you 7 days before a yearly plan renews.

What happens if I move from Pro to Free?

Nothing is deleted. Your notes and everything already attached to them stay readable, searchable and exportable, and you can keep writing notes. If your attachments take up more than 1 GB, you can't add new ones until you delete some or go back to Pro. Devices work the same way: the ones already signed in keep working, but you can't sign in on another until you're down to 2 devices.

How does the Evernote offer work?

Import an Evernote .enex file with Remindly for Mac, then upgrade to yearly Pro within 30 days of the import. Your first year is $29, and it renews at the regular $49 a year after that. The offer is for yearly Pro only, once per account, for accounts that haven't paid for Pro before.

Can I export my notes on the Free plan?

Yes. Markdown export is on every plan. In the Mac app, writes every note as a .md file, one folder per notebook, with attachments alongside. The folder opens in Obsidian or any text editor.

Which devices does Remindly run on?

There are native apps for iPhone (iOS 18 or later), iPad (iPadOS 18 or later) and Mac (macOS 15 or later), plus a web app. On Windows, install the web app from Edge or Chrome: it opens in its own window, but it needs a connection, because your notes aren't stored on the PC. There's no Android app.
